How to know if you rugs need deep cleaned?  If you answer yes to any of these questions, you probably need to get it to the cleaners!

1. Pick up corner of rug and kick backside. Do you see a cloud of dust?

2. Kneel down next to rug, rub your hand vigorously on the rug for 10 seconds. Cloud of dust?

3. With the pile facing UP fold part of the rug back upon itself so that the pile opens along a line of knots. Do you see dirty and debris hiding in the crevices?

Tips for rug care:

If you spill on a rug—blot, don’t rub.

Don’t ignore the backside of the area rug. Make sure you read the label for proper care. Ex. Wool rugs cannot be shampooed. It will ruin them.
